I knew that spear looked familiar! XD

I would never have expected MapleStory. Good job on bringing a new perspective to a cartoony atmosphere. :D

Wow, I like the perspective of the eyes  :)
Drawing on a computer isn't always easy, how about scanning a hand drawn one?

Maplestory?

Well you got inspired by it...
but you didn't try to copy it so that's good.

I'm used to drawing using only the mouse pad, ever since my tablet broke.
And I'm too lazy to color on illustrator. D:

Have you tried live painting? You could scan in a hand-drawn image, ink it with the pen, and then color it with the live paint tool. It works really well. :D

The image I attached was done all in illustrator with the live paint and pen tools, in about 10 minutes. ( The eyes were what I put the most effort into, the mouth is horrible. XD ) Live Paint's really nice if you want some simple artwork with coloring, without using a tablet. The gradients are a bit tougher to use than in Photoshop, though; the interface is a lot different.

Also, like LightningEagle said, you're pretty good at doing perspective with those eyes. They look great. :D

aww that looks cute :P

I dont like live painting because they leave blotchy strokes.

D:

Even if I try it with photoshop with blending options, it still looks weird...

OOoh! Close!

That would look heaps better if the eyes were more separated and the mouth was centered between the 2 eyes (@ sabata).

Looks good! I like how you shaded/coloured the eyes  C)p

After looking through alot of anime and manga (don't ask -,-), the pictures you've drawn, evil, they're good but you could always take some lessons or find a guide on youtube to drawing in the style that you are attempting.

Yaaaah!!

I really don't think we should be arguing about this. It's supposed to be a thread for discussion about Evils piece (as well as comments on others, if they are posted, I guess. But Evil started the thread)
Didriking started it. <_<

Yes. Yes I did. 8)

So yeah, I guess I'll post some of mine too.
It'll have to be links to my dA gallery though...

You all suck at drawing anime and manga  :) stop abusing the japanese culture.
XD

The reason why I stopped drawing is cause I knew I sucked at it.
