You could try renaming it

That doesn't convert it. That'd just rename it to "song.ogg.org" where .org is the extension. You could try DBPoweramp. That's what I use to convert songs. :D

if you get rid of the .org at the end and replace it, it should replace it. :3

if you do that the  actual file will still be .org but the program will try and open it as a .ogg

This is a .org from ORGmaker right? if so i would use audacity/a recorder and record the output of your computer by looping the input and output cables on your usb sound device(if you have one)

i think....

there is probably an easier way  :P

I didn't even knew .org existed, but I'm sure an advanced google search could help you there.

.org is not an extension that I recognise, and I know alot about musical extensions. I fear you cannot just convert it like that, but have to either export to wav or record the source while playing to wav and convert the wav file to ogg.

Here's the deal. ORG is a file from the ORG Maker that comes in the Deluxe pack for Cave Story. It's just a data file. Pixel used ORG files for the music in Cave Story.
The only solution I can think of is to record it while it's playing.

Someone made an .org plugin for WinAmp (which you could have used to convert the file), but the host site doesn't have it anymore. Look at this thread, you might be able to do something, as someone else has rehosted the plugin, although it shouldn't have been allowed.
