Need help with shift on touch

Heja, is there any possibility to extend the time between the usage of 2,3,4.... shift-on-touch effects?
I wan`t to add maybe an half second or a quarter

There's no way to do this in normal Knytt Stories. It might be possible, though, for someone to mod KS so this can be done.

(You could sort of do this artificially, by putting lots of objects on the screens with shifts on them, so they take longer to load. However, this won't be consistent.)
