Technically speaking, that's more realistic than being able to fall 300 feet and start running as soon as you hit the ground. :/ But I agree with you, it does subtract from the "Knytt" feeling. Also, and this may have been said before, it will most likely make some levels that require you to fall 5 or 6 screens impossible.

Technically speaking, that's more realistic than being able to fall 300 feet and start running as soon as you hit the ground.

Technically, Juni shouldn't be able to jump so high/far, or double jump, or glide with the aid of an umbrella like Mary Poppins, or change direction in mid-air, etc.

Knytt Stories isn't about realism, but it has an internally consistent set of rules (which is what games are about). Trying to alter any of the rules drastically make the rest inconsistent.

Don't worry, you will have that off by default in the next versions. Only certain levels will use it. :)

This is very good idea, great work. I am using this now, it beats original KS.

I'm not sure if this is a problem with KSA or not, but I was playing DEtM and

I have no idea what could cause that last one to happen, but It seems to have something to do with going too fast through the shifts. It doesn't happen in normal KS.

sounds like the random shift glitch i experience way too much.
in other words, any of the shifts could be being activated

Holding down on a shift will repeatedly shift you, rather than only once. This is really annoying because some levels have doors that shift to different screens and you have to lightly tap the down key so you don't keep shifting back and forth.

I'm not sure if its just in Doden Vantar, but I can't seem to use the rainbow savepoints, but everything else seems to work properly. What did I do wrong?

if you're using KSA, it should be fine. if you are using KSA and it's not working, could you tell us the problem in more detail?

The rainbow save points don't light up when you save, but other than that they function normally.

This has probably been answered but i cant be bothered reading six pages...

I want to test level in the editor yet it wont happen
is there a file that needs to be renamed, or something that im missing...
can anyone help?
