[Album] Farewell
« on: November 20, 2020, 12:19:43 »
Greetings. I've made one final release to my Bandcamp account. This album consists of fourteen old Ambient tracks which have been remastered and strung together. Some of these tracks have never been publicly released before, so that's kind of fun.

Have a listen and download here: https://fubaka.bandcamp.com/album/farewell

(Also, this isn't the end of my music career per se, but all of my future releases will be under a different name. Look out for those some time next year maybe.)

I'm giving it a listen now while I read the forum, check e-mails, and hunt bugs in some code. The last track is wrapping up and I must say I really enjoyed the album as background music to my activities. It never once demanded my attention or became a distraction, which is pretty ideal for ambient music.

Does the name change mean you're changing generas too?

Glad you enjoyed it. I was also pleasantly surprised with how smooth and mellow the album turned out to be.

Now, whether or not I am changing genres depends on how strict you want to be with your definitions, but I am definitely changing my style to a certain degree. What I've been working on so far I think still comfortably fits into Ambient, but one of the things I like about the genre is how wide the definition is. Still, I guess it will be up to you to judge when the first project gets finished.

Man, now I'm tempted to add another area to Forgotten Realms just to use one of these :^^:   I especially liked Newer Embers, Dissolve and Sentinel. I might actually come up with a new section just by closing my eyes and listening.
Some KS levels by me:

Glad you liked it. Also yes, you have implicit permission to use any of these in your levels.
