Demo for Ynglet now temporarily available

Though nobody seems to have mentioned it on this forum yet, Nifflas has been working on a new game for quite some time now. It'll be the third Nifflas game to be named Ynglet, though it's very heavily expanded compared to the previous two. A short demo version is currently available on Steam, but it will apparently disappear again after this week is over. Note that it requires a gamepad.

I know this isn't the right board for game-specific news, but there don't seem to be boards for any of the Ynglet games.

Thanks for pointing this out. 'Twas a fun thing.

Essentially you're leaping and slingshotting yourself between floating bubbles to reach objectives. The game looks like it will be quite open and evolving with its mechanics; the first of the two levels in the demo has you following another creature to find the right route through some traps, and the second has you pinging off sonar signals to be guided to the objectives. It's a simple concept that looks like it will be developed and explored from level to level, similar to NightSky.
