What controls the transforming in Sync Transform and Void Pointer?

(The hidden areas where your character automatically changes form to the beat of the music, AKA the one with the FiNCK remix and the one where you start as a black ball.)
I'm using AA's KUEditor alpha to view the map. There's nothing in Global Script.py, the room scripts, or the sprite info seem to indicate that the character automatically transforms in Sync Transform, and same with when the automatic transforming starts and stops in Void Pointer. Is this really just hardcoded into the game?

I doubt that it's hardcoded. There is likely a script doing it. Probably the script that plays music.
