DLFoTD [KS+] [Easy/Misc/Small]

This level was made for the Knytt of the Month Klub! I think it's best played not knowing anything, so here is the download link. v2! Go ahead and play it!

The level was made in about 2 days total. 3 more days were dedicated to heavy playtesting, detailing and adjusting the story. The hardest parts were the story and sound. Hopefully the graphics look quite nice. I tried to stuff the level chock-full of secrets. I'd appreciate feedback of any glitches/oversights, as well as any feedback on how I can make this level or my next levels better.

Though, I would like to report a small error: you seem to have put Toast Fact #EJQE in the wrong place. If they're sorted properly in alphabetical order- like Gustav said they were at the start- then EJQE should be in the Factory of Suspicious Explosives, not the chocolate jungle... though I imagine it would be hard to tuck any secrets in there.

Oh, I always though Van Gogh had a way with words... Incredibly a lot, indeed.

Also, you don't get to the Factory of Suspicious Explosives unless you do Gustav's Family Business side quest. Since most players will skip over that area, Toast Fact #EJQE was changed to Toast Fact #EJQF.

While this level has a very lovely sentiment, I'd have to say that the "pretty" part of the level is a lot better looking than the "Not Quite Dr. Cliche's Underwater Lab" part. It's really pretty though! Good job! And I'm glad my level was so inspirational that you put it in the credits

@Lucinda, your level helped me decided how I wanted to tell my story in this level (as well as making me want to start it in the first place) so of course you would be in the credits. The graphics were inspired by some of Vegetal Gibber's tilesets and are technically remakes of the Tutorial World tileset, hence why he is there too

Heartwarming! I can't help but notice that "Deadline Level Full of Default Tilesets" would be DLFoDT, not DLFoTD, so I will forever wonder what DLFoTD actually stands for.

Sorry- I genuinely thought this was a joke level when I started it. Didn't see anything else to it until I loaded it up in the editor.
You could make it more clear that the no-climb gap doesn't just wrap around forever.

I'm surprised you noticed the painting! And I'm glad my level had it's intended effect. I didn't know if I could possibly convey the effect of self-reflection I wanted the level to have on the player, instead of it just being confusing and weird.

I'm also glad you found only ONE typo (which I have since fixed). The beta version was rife with them!

At least half of it worked! The beta version actually had hints that let the player know they were going somewhere (off color tiles in the wall, empty signs, at one point there were enemies) but I removed it because it didn't seem amateurish enough. I did fix in the latest version that I will upload soon!

I leave for one month and I come back to five new levels I need to play.

...good grief, the KS forums are like a geyser. Mostly dormant, but when it blows, oh MAN does it blow.
