Whenever I open the world options it keeps on doing that!

I've had this happen a few times, but never consistently. What exactly do you mean by "world options"? If you have many levels installed, KS can take a long time to load them all, and if you try to interact with the KS window while it's loading, Windows will think it's stopped working.

Maybe something went wrong while you were making a level and the configuration file got messed up. Does it do that for every level, or just one? If the former, try reinstalling the Manager, if the latter, the level properties for the level might be corrupted, and you should try editing World.ini manually. Finally, if this only happens once in a while, I have no idea what to do.

Does the same error happen if you select (current screen) instead?

The Knytt Stories Manager. :)

If that happens, then the knytt stories manager probably is not in the right place, or you're having the known "path too long"  problem.

Where have you installed Knytt Stories? If the path to Knytt Stories already is too long, this is one of the side effects.

Try moving everything to C:\Knytt Stories (or C:\Games\Knytt Stories) and see if that fixes it.

And btw, the desktop is NOT a short path- the actual path is C:\documents and settings\user name\desktop. This is especially so if you have a long username.

That path is too long. If you move it out of there, to say: C:\Games\Knytt Stories, it most likelly is going to run.

It took a long time moving all the files, but it works now :)

I have the same problem except i don't know how to move it.Even when i try to run it it says "Path not found".Then i left clicked on the folder and tried to move it but it said the same thing.Any help?Thanks
