[Challenge/Epic/Scenic] [KS+] Saving Thalanill

"People here have lived happily for generations and life was simple... but now Thalanill Village is in great danger. I'll do everything I can to save my hometown."

For the past couple of months I've been working on my entry for the EPIC KS Level Competition, Mark II. It's about time I share some information and screenshots with you:
     The level is going to be medium sized (~300+ screens).
     There are some cutscenes utilizing KS+ features (and even an action sequence) along the way.
     Featuring all new music tracks, COs and lots of custom tilesets.
     Secret areas all over the place. Golden creatures are hidden there, as well as cats... But the cats are not what they seem.
     Multiple endings*
     Innovative challenges you've never seen anywhere else.

BTW I was wondering if it's possible to switch between 2 different umbrella sprites with separate graphics. Can anyone help me with that?

The way to do that would be to have two different characters that look exactly the same (but have different umbrella sprites) and switch between them.  You can tie a custom umbrella to a custom character by naming the umbrella file: U[custom character name].  For example, the umbrella sprite for a custom character named "Knytt.png" would be named "UKnytt.png".

I'm currently compiling a credit list for all the stuff I use in my level. However, I'm not 100% sure if I can use some of songs listed below. I was hoping some of you guys could give me some info about that. The songs I'm not 100% sure if I can use are colorized.

Fubaka's decision to move the deadline to June activated the procrastination mode in me  >). I was determined to release this in 2016, but designing the last sequence of the level is more time consuming than I expected (I also had to re-edit some parts due to the feedback I got from betatesters). The level is almost finished... but there's still a lot to do.

I've taken a screenshot, but it seems it got cropped...

This is looking pretty neat! The screens are very detailed, and I especially like the dark area with textured tiles and the overlay. I have a weakness for waterfall-filled backgrounds (and foregrounds :P2 )

Looking forward to explore this world and see what challenges you have in store for us :D
