Actually, IIRC, the real reason he picked 42 was because he wanted the answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything to be "the most normal number" he could think of. He also said that "it obviously had to be an even number." Of course, don't take this for 100% true (since I'm not positive), but I think that's how it happened.

Aaaannnnddd....look here. He told Stephen Fry "why exactly 42." He had a reason, he just doesn't want to tell us. ;A; Anyway, we're getting off-topic. If you want to continue this, KG, feel free to PM me.

Absoluely nothing. :D I think it's just gobbledygook.

Quoting Fit the Seventh of the radio series, on Christmas Eve, 1978:
Narrator: There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable.
There is another theory which states that this has already happened.

I tried playing it with the old KS, and it was incompatible. Also, it uses flags, which, 1.04 did not support.

I played it with normal Knytt Stories and it worked for me. O-o

It works on the current (1.2.1) KS. Whatever. I loved the game, and I didn't really notice if the shifts were too fast. They seemed fine.

Why should that be in a spoiler?
Because maybe not everybody wants to cheat or be tempted to cheat. :P
Damnit, that jump

Here's what I did: I used the umbrella and floated right.

Woah. This started out slow, but by the end (which I reached after skipping some early parts via the editor because it's too damn confusing to navigate), I was thoroughly satisfied.

A LOT of work clearly was put into this level. Just looking at the size of it it in the editor absolutely blows my mind.

I registered here just so I could comment on this. I take it the boss can only be beaten if you use an earlier version of KS? Either that, or the boss can only be beaten if you're a better player than I am.

Best KS level I've ever played so far, although I don't understand most of it. I suppose that was sort of the point. Great work nonetheless, KG.

EDIT: Oops, I beat it. Again, great level.

I love these things. Surreal is always good.

This has the best finale and ending in any KS level, the best use of shifts ever, and some excellent use not only of music, but sound in general. I just got a really good feeling from it, the sort you get from an epic videogame which can stand on it's own as art.

Whoa. The music was awesome. The boot was awesome. The Juni was awesome. The EVERYTHING was awesome. I loved it. The text made you feel like you were in a world of sadness, and desolation. The story made me feel like I was something else, and everything was different from everything else. It felt like I was in complete insanity. I felt scared, yet stupefied. I was amazed. I've found two of the endings, and can't find the final boss. The two I've discovered are odd, but cool. I love this level. I need to get this song on MP3.
Ah, look at all the lonely people.
