Are collaborations allowed?

So long as you are willing to share the prize.
Great, thanks! I don't know if I'm actually going to work with someone, but it could happen.
Thanks for the stars, everyone!

Is copying couple of screens and COs from my old 2012 abandoned project considered illegal?  I don't want to get penalties  :ohnoes:

How many screens are we talking about, here?
Things to remember when writing figures of speech and sound:
The power of poetry comes from the ability to defy logic. Defy logic often.

Use a metaphor and tell us that your lover is the sky. Tell us that your lover is the sky. When you do that, we won't believe you. We won't believe you because saying so makes no sense, but we'll see a meaning. We'll see a meaning.

The other thing is the ability to be remembered. Love anything.

I sent you a PM with this old level so you can check yourself.

Maybe I'll take a break from Advena for this. I do have an idea in mind ...

Isn't Advena an epic level?

It is, but one of the rules states that levels started a significant time before this competition was announced would suffer penalties. Advena has been in the works for at least a year now.

Huh? It's been a while since I visited this forum, glad to see that at least a small part of the map-making community still exists. :D

I might get in on this...

No. I am in on this, sounds like a fun project to do!  :^^:
Audial experimentations (Read: demos)
Crazy metal band I sing and play bass/electric guitar in

"Throwback" - a KS level in progress
I seem to recall starting a shift-animation frenzy and increased fascination in Juni's transparent body.

I am actually surprised, and quite pleased, how many people have responded saying they wanted in on this!

Of course, a year is a long time. My hope is to see at least as many submissions as the last Epic contest had. (6 or more)

For those wondering what kind of level would meet the minimum qualifications for this competition and receive no penalties, my newest release, The Column, would do so.

Not counting duplicate screens, it contains roughly 380 in total. I made this level in almost exactly one month's time. I have confidence that you blokes can make something like this, and larger, in the 8+ months we have left for this competition.

i know i could make a huge, bloated level, but i don't think i could make a good one that big, so i'm not sure. maybe i'll try anyway.

I was thinking about requesting a small 365 day extension for this competition the other day. This probably gives some indication of how I'm faring, but how about everyone else?

I'm probably going to submit Advena for this contest even though there'll be a penalty.
