OK, but keep in mind that the spine tiles already have an invisible collision mask. There's not a lot you can do to it other than extending parts of it out by a few pixels so that the entire thing is one straight line, but given how curvy the spine tiles are, Juni will still often look like she's climbing on air.

Yeah, I checked again and it seems the bottom part of the spine doesn't leave me much room for adjusting the collision mask. The fact that most of the spines I put in the level have a skull on top certainly doesn't help. I'll experiment a bit to see which option offers the best results without affecting the gameplay too much. If possible, I'd like to let the player climb the entire thing in a single go (skull included) rather than requiring multiple jumps, especially on the final maze.

This was pretty cool. A nice, scary level to play before Halloween.

Thanks Healy!  I did indeed consider keeping the finished level a secret and wait until mid October before releasing it... but I just don't have the necessary patience to pull off something like that :P2

Very interesting small level. I also like its graphic. The bones theme is very well done :).

Thanks CWolvie :D  I'm glad I could do justice to the original tileset.

I still want to address the issues with the blue key area and the spine bones. Hopefully I'll be able to work on a new version soon.

This was a great level. Really loved the atmosphere of it all. The "freedom" ending was a little of an anticlimax for me but I think the "truth" ending more than made up for it. Really well done level. :)

i just played this, really enjoyed it, it felt very purposeful in its approach with how stuff was placed and the flow between getting new powerups

I've made a small update to this level before I finally release it on KnyttLevels.com. It fixes some issues and adds special optimizations and bonuses for KS+ (while still being playable on vanilla KS).

Wow, this made me nostalgic - feels so much like the classic KS levels I played all those years ago. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the gameplay immensely. Great job!

Thanks for updating to this beautiful level! :) I am also thinking of updating Save the high jump, but I...need...more...time. :sigh:

I didn't notice too many differences in the new version, but it's been a long time since I played through. I found some bugs! When entering x996y1000 through the door, you can find yourself swimming in a skull. On the right side of x1006y997 the 2 stacked skulls are not solid.
