"possible exploit" - MysteryIsland v1.1 by RelicShine
« on: August 16, 2015, 23:35:25 »
When I attempt to install a newer level, "MysteryIsland v1.1" (863.59kb), I get the error message "possible exploit".

I attempted to message the author, RelicShine, but there appears to be no member with this name.

Can anyone attempt a correction to the uploaded bin file?

Thank you.

RelicShine's level seems to have come from Glorious Trainwrecks, a game making community which recently hosted a Knytt Stories level building event. They uploaded a fixed version on that site but interesingly not on knyttlevels.com

You can find the fixed version here.

Firecat's said it all, but I guess I can explain this error a little. It occurs when there's a banned character in the directory name, in this case the full stop in "v1.1". You can fix it yourself by replacing that character with a dash or something using pretty much any hex editor and most text editors (but not notepad).
