Be a dear and distract the police while I pack my stuff and escape out of the bathroom window.

I'm dreadfully sorry, but I'd rather not do that. I don't want to be rude, but the house you're ransacking right now is mine and I happen to deeply value the things that I own.

Could you do me a favor and let me borrow your Android phone? I have to test this new app I'm developing, but my device's already obsolete.

Sorry, but my little brother accidentally dropped it yesterday and I have no money to buy a new phone.

Could you do me a favor and buy me a grilled chicken? All my chickens already died of avian flu.

Well I tried grilling a chicken but it got bored of all my questions and left...

(Ya see, it a joke based on the alternative definition of 'grill' meaning to ask lots of difficult questions.)
(Ya see.)

Do me a favour and laugh at that joke I just made about grilling a chicken.

I tried to, I really tried, but the cringe factor is too strong on this one. My face muscles cramped during the process and I'm now stuck with this really creepy half-smile.

Could you do me a favor and help me fix my creepy distorted face?

I tried to massage your face, but the flame infection pulled off all my fingers and is burning my body. Could you spray me with a fire extinguisher so i don't turn into hamburger?

I would, but I'm not allowed to touch fire extinguishers anymore since I tried using them to make a jetpack like that one guy in that one movie.

I'd really appreciate it if you could give me a job.

I would. I really would. But the last 237 employees I employed all filed harassment complaints against me and I'm scared you'd do the same.

Could you be so kind to do me a favor, and create a game that will sell for sure, then hand it to me and give me all the rights so I can sell it?

I totally would, but I don't like playing games and games in general, because I never win. My 3 year old brother is even better than me so I killed him and I'll do it again.

Could you do me a favor and blown up the job center with all its employees inside? I hate this institution more and more.

I would, but... hmm... you know what, what the hey, sure![/doin'_it_wrong]

Could you do me a favour and rebuild the Job Centre but this time make them useful to people looking for a job, and less terrifying, judgemental, and generally less like the Spanish Inquisition?

I would, but surveys show that the best way to greet job seekers is with surprise. After all, nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!

Could you do me a favor and make me dinner tomorrow? I'm thinking a dish of Lopadotemachoselachogaleokranioleipsanodrimhypotrimmatosilphioparaomelitokatakechymenokichlepikossyph- ophattoperisteralektryonoptekephalliokigklopeleiolagoiosiraiobaphetraganopterygon ought to do the trick.

Things to remember when writing figures of speech and sound:
The power of poetry comes from the ability to defy logic. Defy logic often.

Use a metaphor and tell us that your lover is the sky. Tell us that your lover is the sky. When you do that, we won't believe you. We won't believe you because saying so makes no sense, but we'll see a meaning. We'll see a meaning.

The other thing is the ability to be remembered. Love anything.

Love anything

No way, last time I did that on Gerald Ford, his security thought I was an assassin and they shot me in the arm. I survived but spent 10 years in prison before I finally figured out how to escape. But I'm still the world's most wanted woman.

Could you do me a favor and draw for me a very realistic portrait of Mr. Bean riding a horse?

Could you do me a favor and freeze time for a few weeks?

I would, but I don't have enough ice right now. Sorry.

Could you do me a favor and get me more ice?

I would, but someone took all my ice and left me with nothing but a load of water. What's that all about?

I'd really appreciate it if you could make my legs stop aching.
