I've been using Wallpaper Master recently, so I have a whole bunch of desktops, but here's the undisputed most awesome wallpaper in my possession. I made it myself! Well, I put the images together. I didn't draw it.

When something smells, it's usually my monitor.

^ I think he refers to the absence of icons and other gadgets on the desktop, rather than to the background image. If Vista had something like KRunner or Do, I'd do away with icons on it too. Luckily Vista allows you to Alt-Tab onto the desktop, so it's not that bad for keyboard-users like me.

See how my Vista desktop looks like instead.

For now I'm only using it to play the old God of Thunder game, which is now freeware. That reminds me... Should I make a topic about it in the Other free games? Sorry for being off-topic.

Just changed mine to a picture I took...

Many a hand has scaled the grand old face of the plateau,
Some belong to strangers and some to folks you know,
Holy ghosts and talk show hosts are planted in the sand,
To beautify the foothills and shake the many hands.

I just changed my desktop. Say "hello" to the...

I'm probably the only Half-Life 2 fan who actually supports the Combine. (or should I say "our benefactors"?)

Dude have you seen their faces???

I've been trying to find an image on the internets, and I've had no luck yet. I vaguely remember seeing an unmasked soldier in Nova Prospekt, but I just don't feel like replaying that chapter. Prospekt and Ravenholm aren't really...chapters...for me. Yeah.

I do know they've had their throats replaced with speakers or something like that. They're walking PA systems!

Also, nice protoss icons  :D

Thanks! I didn't make them, they're part of some age-old Protoss theme I used and I just never bothered changing them.

Mine is very... Mac like.

http://img683.imageshack.us/img683/1797/desktopwhistler.png

I also have a custom start menu and a dashboard, very similar to the Mac. The wallpaper cycles between the one shown and a blue version of it.
It is actually Windows 7 (its hard to tell).
