Looking for 2 additional moderators.

Hi everyone.

I'm currently not seeing much activity from our moderators. In fact it has been quite a while since I saw activity.

I've spoken with Nifflas about ongoing projects and although I cannot tell what they are, something big is coming up. As with Knytt Stories, I expect substantial increase of activities on the forum and I'd like to be prepared.

So I'm offering 2 moderator positions to those of you who want it. Do note, if more than 2 people reply here that they're interested, I will look at each member and take the best two that I think will fit. I will look for quite a few things, such as attitude towards other members, how active someone is, if someone used the report to moderator feature and if someone handed out stars and to whom.

Now, you do not have to have all these qualities, but it gives me the ability to judge your character.

If you'd like to be a moderator, but you think you lack the qualities, please still reply here because if no one with the required qualities applies, I have no one to give these privleges to.

Maybe it's because i never go to anything other than the gazeb-- erm, the General section, but i haven't seen a lot of mod activity either, so perhaps there's some credibility in what he's saying. (Keyword: perhaps)

Also, this is kinda making me paranoid, because of the date when i became a moderator of that Minecraft server.

Also, i wouldn't make a great moderator if activity's what you're going for. I barely even play on that Minecraft server anymore.

I like to be moderator because I know I can only truly help other people by allowing them to fail.

I'll throw my hat into the ring. I'm slightly ashamed to admit that I sometimes check the unread posts page several times a day, meaning I probably see everything that gets posted on the forum. I would be good at deleting bot posts and then re-bumping neglected threads with genuine content out of guilt.

Does lurking a dead IRC channel count as active

Guilty as charged!    Haven't done much lately, besides lurking and the occasional moderating when the need arose. You can still count on me to take care of stuff though, whether it's quiet or busy here. It'll be also nice to have fresh blood in the team.

Sorry for those who got their hopes up as becoming a moderator, and the current staff is active enough. There's no need to find additional staff as the traffic to the site is not as big as it used to be.

2010 was that the joke about conflict between nifflas and lpchip and the indie publisher? That was best imo.

I was actually referring to the one where J banned Nifflas and such.

The joke I liked most was that one time when everyone posted as Nifflas.
