« on: October 27, 2013, 10:54:00 »
As a belated celebration of egomassive collecting 100 stars on this forum, members of the community have put together the following Knytt Stories+ level:

Download For egomassive by the Nifforum (version 1.1)

This level was made by Talps, Firecat, Polana, plural, Headgrinder, Tablecat, StraightFlame, and me. Enjoy!

Yeah!  This was a really great project everyone!  Thanks tons to sergio for spearheading this, and for everyone else for all their work!  This kind of project makes me really love this forum.

Excellent level if you ask me. The shape of the world alone puts this in the running for best level ever! My favorite part is the subliminal messages, like this background building in my crotch (see pic).

My favourite part was how the screens are connected:

I think my favourite parts were Polana's complex flag work, the music in Plural's area, Tapls' challenging area and straihgtflema's self insert. :P

Flag work ? I don't know I know how to make flags. Or was it Plural again ?

Anyway, I like her part of level and I think Sergio's is the second best - first time I like the tileset.

That was a joke based on Splat's tendency to call people Polana. Likewise, plural's area doesn't have noteworthy music.

Sorry. I have spent all weekend at school determining mosses and liverworts. My intelligence and sense of humor had gone away with the 100th sample of Amblystegium serpens. Hopefully, they will return after playing final version of certain KS level...

Ha!  So, I suppose the rusty pipes in my section are analogous to the heart, although their isn't a direct  corollary.

I just want to say everyone put together great sections. I wanted to single out a few things that struck me a while ago when we were putting this together but I never really felt relaxed enough to talk about until now: Firecat's use of the keyboard command tiles to simulate wind was an amazing idea to me. I learned a whole lot about KS+ and now feel a lot more comfortable making stuff in it. And Talps/Sergio bringing it all together and discovering most of the bugs (99% mine) brought a welcome respite to my constant anxiety about how I put together things kind of haphazardly. I also wanted to mention Polana's tileset is kind of amazing, I don't mean to be insulting when I say that looking at the screens themselves gives you small idea about the possibilities with that tileset, I mean I usually assume there is only a certain amount of options to put together a geometry of a tileset, but the amount of options in that tileset was kind of staggering when I took a look at it. And Headgrinder's graphical clarity always puts me to shame.

And as always, egomassive, KS+ deserves every star you avariciously collect like some kind of Knytt Scrooge McDuck.

This was great, barring the bit where I was trying to navigate wind currents on a pale background while monochrome. Thanks, plural, I appreciate it.
I've never meta pun I didn't like.
