[Challenge] Sputzna *updated*
« on: April 13, 2009, 20:53:48 »
Juni lives on a space station. She is preparing for her first mission, the investigation of a strange signal from a nearby nebula. The first part of the level is on the station as she does a few chores. the second part is more of a challenge.

EDIT: i decided to make this a lot bigger. so it'll be awhile before its finished.
EDIT: new screens, lots of colorzzz

EDIT 7/16: this is going on hold for awhile. some crazy business has come up and i dont have the time to mess with this right now. i'll probably post the beta up later tonight, just so people can have something (so close to being finished...) i did a lot of work on it, but i've got some really important things to take care of right now. the only reason i'll post the beta is because i'm not sure i'll come back and finish it. but let me know what ya'll think an we'll see.  :)

EDIT: 8/04: Haven't done anymore work on this, and I don't know if I will. However ... here's the beta for download! It's mostly done except for the last 2 areas. So, I hope ya'll enjoy it.  :)

EDIT: 4/19: started working on this again, god knows when itll be finished.

Looks like pure farik awesomeness. I really like the look of Earth in the first shot, with the clouds and all.

Wow, this actually looks amazing...
I kinda gives me a real grasp on what looks good with a outer space/background perspective...

What would be awesome, would that the background with earth and stars turn round so we would have a sense of weigtlessness...
But I can't think this being possible, because custom objects can only be in front of the 3rd layer.

It's possible, but you'd have to make a lot of huge custom objects and more custom objects that overlap all tilesets.

that would be hard. are you saying make the earth revolve around the center of the level, or like the perimeter of the screen, because i dont know how to do that. i'd like to see it though. i did make a couple like little floating knytts and space suits...
