Za Nifflas Arcade!?

This is really an amazing addition to the forums but when did you come up with the idea?

Considering how brusquely the staff regards most similar additions to the forum, I am extremely surprised that they were not only willing to add something like an arcade, but that they did so without any visible demand for one.

We've choosen to add one seeing that I am not making that much progress on the knyttlevels.com site as much as I want to do that. Other than that, people are visiting the site less often because there isn't much to do here. I thought this would be a great addition and would certainly compensate for that what people are missing.

The title and the arcade reminds me of "Za Warudo!"

Edit 2: Under the "view highscores" link it says "You may have only 1 scores at same time". Shouldn't it be "You may only have 1 score at the same time"?

I remember something like this on I Ride The Lines. Good times...

We had one of these at the Prosperity Sphere forums. I remember pwning all at Asteroids, and a stupid, literally unplayable game called Alphasoup

...this seems pretty arbitrary to me. I can't imagine that this will bring more traffic; the games (or extremely similar ones) are all easily available elsewhere, so the only people who end up playing them here will be the people who already visit the forum regularly. (Even then, everyone will eventually get bored of the arcade games.) I can't imagine it'd work to try to attract people to a forum built on the work of an indie game developer who makes reasonably idiosyncratic games with cheesy Flash games they could find on dozens of casual gaming sites.

Are more games gonna be added? Unique, Nifflas-themed games would be awesome. EDIT: Or multiplayer ones, but that'd be really hard, mebbe even impossible in flash.

the idea, I think, is to keep people here. because some said that there is so little to do.
Now I know, the games are not hyper-awesome. But for the start, I guess a bit of competition between members can be fun. Or something like that.
Then, about the games in general. And spelling errors. This is a smf mod, an addon or plugin. That means not everything is our fault (), texts are mostly like they are by default and only changeable to a very limited extent, if at all, afaik. So don't fret about spelling.
second, games. the ones you see now are the contents of one pack out of 19, if I remember correctly. mostly just added to have a start/test. I guess. I don't know about the quality or anything of the rest of available games. the current options aren't the forever fixed set of games, though, I'd say, and subject to additions/removals as soon as one of the admins decides to devote some time for such.
As long as nobody makes a flash-edition or a "themed" game from Nifflas' creations, though, it's not likely at all to be added. And since Nifflas prolly really has other things on his mind, I wouldn't get hopes up.

no spelling fixes, additional games only as time and availability as flash game permit, intended purpose firstly to keep people interested a bit.
