This game doesn't have a name yet. I will develop it with my friends at
Knapnok Games, and it'll be quite different from both what me and Knapnok are used to. I'll be the lead designer in a small team. I've not worked full time with professionals this way before, so I'm a little bit scared but very excited. It's an experience I really want to have, and it's a great thing that I'm doing it with people I know well and respect. We got
funding from DFI, so that's awesome.
Unfortunately for you who long for a desktop version, the game will be for the Wii U. It's mechanics are built around an idea I have that will be fantastic on the Wii U specifically due to the the controller having thumbsticks, a touchscreen, and a separate TV screen. The game takes advantage of all these components fully, and needs them all to make sense. Making it run on another device and make and be remotely as intuitive will be hard. On the other hand, maybe we'll be able to solve that somehow and make a desktop version as well - but no promises such a version will be made.
I won't be revealing that much about what the game is at this point, screen shots and more information will probably appear quite a bit later.
