Hard one Talps. All seems very plausible so this will be a guess. I'm tempting to roll a dice even. XD

Lets say the following one is a lie.: The only time I have genuinely screamed with fear was because of a cat; I was leaning down to look into a tiny, dark cave and it suddenly came scittering out straight at my face, more scared of my than I was of it.

Probably.
It's very difficult to choose one of these, all seem possible.

I'll take the remaining option (the third statement being the lie), just so all possibilities are covered.

I am indeed fascinated with caves and there is an amateur caving session at Cheddar Gorge, but it has not been my good fortune to go on it. So Vegetal Gibber wins the speedboat.

Cool beans 8)

My last post on the Could you do me a favor game has made me remember some catastrophic tales of computer destruction. Unfortunately for me and my reputation, only one of them is a lie:

1) I destroyed my friend's 2000€ laptop by accidentally spilling my drink over it while it was on.

2) I once broke an inkjet printer in half with a single punch.

3) When I was a kid, I wrecked my father's computer with the first DOS command I ever typed.

Well, all of these sentences also look possible like in Talps' case so I'm forced to guess again.
My guess is number 2.

2 would also be my guess. But given that it was already taken, I'll go with 1.

Ouch. For a second there, I thought it was the classic "format c:" XD but erase *.* (or was it del *.*?) is just as bad. XD

Okay, lets see...

- I had company over yesterday.
- I have company over today.
- I will have company over tomorrow.

My guess is that the second sentence is a lie, since you posted here today but you didn't yesterday.

The second would have been my first guess, so... I'll pick the first sentence!

I was waiting for you to respond, because you are correct.

Friday evening, I got company over and they slept over for the night, leaving saturday morning. They were still asleep when I posted this though, which is why I was able to post it on a saturday. That means 1 and 2 are correct, and 3 (today) is the lie. I don't have company over nor do I expect company.

CWolvie, you're up next.

I'm pleased. ;)

My English is not so good so I apologize for my mistakes.

1. The most terrifying moment of my life was eleven years ago when I was twelve. I was walking down the street and suddenly a strange man came out of nowhere and he was trying to grab me from behind and began to drag me away. But I was lucky. Suddenly we both heard footsteps and voices coming from the corner of building in front of us. A young gypsy woman with a child appeared on the scene so he was forced to leave me be and run away. I also run away straight to the centre of the town. That woman probably saved my life unawares. I don't tell it anybody, not even my parents, because I was too scared and I felt so ashamed of it.
2. When I was five, I remember my grandfather sitting on a wooden bench outside his house. My parents and I were there with him every weekend. I was sitting on his lap while he was telling me some old fairy-tales full of unicorns, dragons, evil kings and queens, elves, witches and brave young boys and girls trying to save their beloved ones. I really enjoyed it and I become a fan of fantasy books and movies as I grow older. However he died in 2014 and I still missing him.
3. My sister and I didn't go to kindergarten at all. Once I asked my parents why and my mom answered me that all kindergartens are only a waste of time and nothing more. She says that children should stay at home with their parents who take care about them until they are able to go to primary school. They don't trust any teacher in kindergarten, because nobody knows the child better than his own parents. It's strange point of view, but I didn't complain about it. Hey, I was small child then and didn't care about anything!
