I have decided to guess that '1' is the lie.

Which I believe is an example of perfect tense, but it seems to me you learn more about grammar from studying a foreign language than you do from studying your own, and since I'm English (which is basically a synonym of 'monolingual') I had to look up what perfect tense is.

You are correct, Talps.

I always had problems with perfect tense (past/present/future) in English and still have, honestly. I don't use this tense if it's not needed. I could use without the dictionary or Google translator only these kind of sentences "I have been to Spain." and "Have you ever met him?" I think it's hard for someone who don't speak English (mother tongue). So it's easier for me to use another tense such as future, past, present or conditional :).

I'm guessing LoTR - 2 towers. Reason, everyone likes this, so its a good way to cloak the lie.

Good guess. I did at one point love the LotR films (and Two Towers was my favourite of the trilogy) but every time I read the books I find myself liking the films less.

A list of my favourite films would include the other two mentioned above, as well as Chicken Run and Amazing Grace.

Haha, I don't like the LotR films either, but for a very different reason. When the first film came out in 200x I didn't had time to actually go see it, but people were overly enthusiastic about it, so I decided to give it a shot. Normally I am not into fantasy, but they said: doesn't matter, you'll love it anyway. So I decided to download the movie through torrent, and it took about 2 weeks to get that movie downloaded. When I finally was ready to go and watch the movie, it then appeared to be the cartoon version that originally came out in 1970 or so. From that moment on, I hate LotR. :P

Anyway, I have pre-ordered the following games:

- Command and Conquer 3
- Halo 1
- Magicka 2

I pick 3, because of its unusual name :).

I pick 1, because a) you have it in your Steam library, and b) 2 is the obligatory "so outrageous it's probably actually true and just there to throw you off" answer.

Well then, I guess I should pick 2!

Never judge a book by its movie, LPChip.

CWolvie is wrong. Magicka 2 is the latest game I pre-ordered, which will arrive may 27th. Looking forward to that game.

StraightFlame is also incorrect. I did pre-order Command and Conquer 3, Kane edition, but I purchased it a 2nd time with discount so I could have it directly in steam. I added Halo 1 as the lie for the exact reason you pointed out. How's that for reverse psychology? :D

So Talps, you're up. :) And as for judging a book by its movie, I am not a reading guy. Also I'm not into fantasy overall. And even though people say the Game of Thrones books are really good I'd still not read it, and no, I don't like that series either. :P

I'm not a Game of Thrones fan, either. I tried the books and lost interest halfway through the first one. I didn't bother with the TV series.

Ooh err, now I have to think of another idea...

I have been to Israel.
I have been to Canada.
I have been to Japan.

I don't want to interrupt you, guys, but I'm a big fan of fantasy as well as reading books :P.

Well, back to the topic:

I pick 1.
