[Challenge/Small/Very Hard] Content Load Success
« on: January 27, 2013, 19:33:23 »
Content Load Success is a challenging little level, and it's going to test you. But not in a mad AI sort of way. It doesn't have a story. I would eventually like to have some music to go with it, but as it stands I'm not good at that myself right now. You might've seen this screenshot before, a long time ago, but here it is:

I seem to be stuck at the room set where 5 blocks appear to block your path

I then took a peak into the level using the editor, there should be a path but it's not there even if I use the editor to load that section.

The blocks block your path; there's a different way to proceed.

Ah, that's what I thought but I can't seem to find that anywhere.

I wasn't able to find the eye either. I was pretty sure I was supposed to have it, so I edited my save file to get past this point.

The way you've used minimalist graphics with obvious indicators on dangers and no-climbs, makes the level appear straight forward. But, the truth is it's laced with all these well hidden pathways. It gives the level a deceptive personality that's really fantastic.

Me too. I installed it into KS+ and it worked then.

Yeah, it requires KS+ even though it's not mentioned anywhere in the first post. I'd meant to bring it up when I added the level to the mods list but RL has been kicking me about something rotten, sorry!

I just scanned the level in the editor, and I'm certain this is not a KS+ level. For a time the KS+ editor would set levels to format 4. That's probably what happened here. Open the World.ini and set it to Format = 2 to play in original KS. And, unless I'm utterly mistaken add this code as well:
Code: [Select]
[x1009y1027]
ShiftFlagOn(A)=Power4
That should fix the missing eye power issue.

*gives egomassive a star*
Thankyou for taking the time to straighten this out. If anyone would rather download a fixed world.ini I've uploaded mine with egomassive's changes to box.com and mediafire.
