Did you believe you were saving the world?
« on: January 09, 2013, 18:07:10 »
This question is directed specifically to people who have already beaten the game.  So, the following info is a bit spoilery.

Spoiler: (click to show/hide)

Given the nature of the story, combined with the strangeness of the world and my own beliefs, all I could say was 'Maybe'.
Things to remember when writing figures of speech and sound:
The power of poetry comes from the ability to defy logic. Defy logic often.

Use a metaphor and tell us that your lover is the sky. Tell us that your lover is the sky. When you do that, we won't believe you. We won't believe you because saying so makes no sense, but we'll see a meaning. We'll see a meaning.

The other thing is the ability to be remembered. Love anything.

Love anything

I actually don't remember anymore.

I certainly have a reason to pick any of the 3 answers.

My first instinct would say Yes, as thats the kind of person I am.
I could've said maybe because in the end, you don't know and every choice is a choice until its made, and thus it changes the outcome of things.
I also could've gone for no, just because to see what kind of reaction I would get.

I said 'yes', because that felt right at the moment. I already knew all her reactions and I don't think the answer affects anything else.

I said 'no', it was pretty random. My own answer is 'no', if I were Mi I would say 'maybe', and  'yes' isn't any worse either, because it's not about answering the question, it's about seeing the reaction.

I picked "maybe" because that's how I felt when the question was asked. Once I get around to another play-through (or two) I'll pick something different.
