Spot the room competition
« on: January 08, 2013, 22:17:17 »
Ripstone is hosting a recognize the room competition with some pretty nice prizes (e.g. a Figure Space themed EP with 6 minutes of completely original and quite silly music I composed on my iPad).

It's not super easy because some images may be manipulated.

This is really cool! :D At first glance I could tell only like 2-3 for certain, the rest I either guess or have no idea.

People who play versions of the game where there is no simple way to tell room coordinates might have an additional challenge here.

I think I know all of them, but I'll have to take a closer look at home.

Yeah, this aspect is pretty unfair. I imagine some PC players may not even be aware of using coordinates to identify rooms.

I'm really interested in these mysterious prizes (Ripstone don't even mention the EP) but I suppose it wouldn't be very fair for me to participate given I have a beta of the game that facilitates traversing the entire game world in a matter of minutes.

...and the time saved this way would be wasted trying to figure out the coordinates. :P

But kidding aside, yeah. Plus the fact that we've been staring at some of these screens for months before release.

Will you ever release this EP independently?
I loved Figure stuff, so more similar challenges would be awesome. :P

It's music, not challenges.
