Ambience, or subtle symbolism? [spoilers]
« on: December 27, 2012, 08:14:04 »
I've been doing quite a bit of adventuring in "The Interlude"...

Spoiler: (click to show/hide)

Thanks in advance for anybody with any insight! P.S. Hi Ponto

EDIT: This is the PC version.

These are background flowers, but they're bright white and glowing. It's hard not to attribute meaning to them. There's another glowing white flower elsewhere in the game that I have similar feelings towards.

I've seen a number of things that make me stop and wonder the same thing. Is it just there or is there some kind of meaning behind it?

Curse you, Nifflas, for being such a genius! C)

As somebody said, these are significant enough to make me wonder if there is symbolism in them. They even have a little "ping" sound when you enter the room they are located in. They're not just the average flowers in the background or tiny little things on the ground. Ah well, guess I'll just have to wonder!

Beauty is always symbolic.  XD  Quite possibly Nifflas is just leaving certain aspects open for interesting interpretations.
