what is the use of BLUE protective orb?

The blue protective orb adds 10 seconds to the time it takes before you can not create new light in the disorder.

@Nifflas thanks! at first i believed Cilia and thought that these orbs are useless.

Does completing the secret challenge with the music-synced transformation give you access to the ball in the menu? I can't tell if it did, seeing as I already activated the ball through brute force...
If not, is there anything else in the menu besides ? Just wondering if I should keep searching or not!

Saml: I don't think the secret challenge you mentioned gives you access to the ball in the menu.

To clarify, ball access is only available in the not-yet-officially-released Infinity Hype update.

I love this kind of stuff, so I made a little compilation of loading zones you're not supposed to be able to reach in chapters one and two. There were a couple more I think it's possible to get to, but unfeasibly difficult for a human. I also included the terrible secret at the top of the waterfall in the inifinity hype update. Enjoy!

edit: it's worth noting, for the bounce arkum discovered (which was the first one of these tricks to be found), you can go off the top of the screen to the right too.

Here's what it says:

It's very difficult to read. It's actually not proper text at all but an image of a tiny text, so it cannot be read from game dialog files. Doesn't benefit much from zooming in, either. Gets too blurry.

That village also probably has the best music in the game in my opinion, if not the underwater lab

I managed to find a secret off-the-map room that connected to three corners of the map, but it didn't feel very museum-y.
