Slow Forum is Slow

Slow Forum is Slow

The forum has been very slow to load for me over the past few weeks. Is anybody else experiencing this issue?

Its also slow for me from time to time. I'll contact support and see if it can be fixed.

There's a bug with MySQL which could be the root cause of this.

I was thinking about "slow" in another way. But I guess it's been more active than a few weeks ago so shrug.

Same thought as Marximillian's, at first. But then I was like: nay, Sergio is not like that. :P

Occasionally it loads slow here as well, and a few times not at all. Hopefully the server folks can sort it out.

My websites are being moved to a different server. This should solve the problem once and for all. :)

I was thinking that too but the forum has been picking up pace recently.
which is great :)

I was having this problem about a month ago.. but it's fine for me recently. I've noticed this on other SMF forums, like Smogon, too.

SMF does some maintenance tasks which can cause a slow load sometimes, but that should be like, once every so many days. In our case it was happening too frequently.

There was a load problem on the old sql server I think. I got moved to a different server and the problem is gone. :)
