"Notify" is a handy but easy-to-miss feature that lets you keep in touch with important forum happenings by email. What's important? You get to decide. Here is how it works:
- A 'Notify' button is located at the top right of each topic:
- When you see a topic whose activities you want to get notified about, click that button and it will be added to your list.
- To manage your notification list and adjust its settings, go to Profile >> Notifications and Email.
- One thing you might want to do there right away is set what activities you want to be notified of: moderation, new post, both or neither. Use the only dropdown menu there to do this.
*You can also enable notifications for an entire board - same thing applies.
** To remove a notification, either use the Unsubscribe button on the settings page, or click the Notify button on the topic page again.
