Problems with sound in KS 1.2.1 (fixed)

I had to reinstall Windows (was using XP SP1, now using XP SP3) and now I can't really play KS because of numerous problems with sound. Music and ambient FX tracks sometimes just stop, and turning sound off doesn't quite work - when Juni's running, there's an annoying clicking sound all the time, like amplified bits of the actual running sound. I have no problems with any other software. Does anybody have any ideas on what may be the problem? The soundcard I'm using is E-MU 1820m, if that's of any help.

Have you tried to redownload Knytt Stories and install/unzip it to a new directory? Perhaps something went wrong on your harddrive and now your files are corrupted.
