This level was pretty decent, and you definitely managed to tell a story, simple as it may be, without using any dialogue.
There are a lot of places, though, where you didn't align the screens properly. I ended up caught in a wallswim over a dozen times while playing this level, and there is actually an area (The spike pit with the blue key) where you could access the Void if you know where to jump.
You will want to place some more red death blocks under the ghost platforms in that room to seal it up. Either that, or you could leave the holes there and have the player fall through them into a secret chamber of some kind!
The challenges were... challenging, most of the time, but there are a lot of areas where I feel I was just cheated. For instance:
==x1004 y1003, you jump down after a mild challenge directly into a pool of water that you just can't see coming the first time.==
==Numerous retractable spike traps placed haphazardly. If you don't want players climbing on certain walls, you should draw or use permanent spikes and add those red death boxes to them. It shouldn't always have to be a guessing game.==
==Soldiers that I didn't know would kill me by touch until I ran into one. To fix this, just add the red Detect Target boxes to them and their surrounding area.==
==x1002 y990, attempting to leave this screen from left or right results in invisible insta-death. Place a wall there or something!
Apart from that, you did a good job. Hopefully we will see more from you in the near future, yes?
