Fullscreen No Longer Working

I have been playing knytt stories for a couple of weeks now and each time i was able to use full screen. Today, i woke up and tried to play but the full screen would not work. The only thing that happens is that the game and sound buttons disappear. I have a toshiba laptop with windows vista. Does anyone know why this could be happening and if there is a fix? If there isnt a fix, is there another version that i could download to give me fullscreen again?

I also have this and it happened  to me for a while with Knytt Stories. (And also Non-source Counter Strike),
but then became fixed. I dunno how though.

Try updating your videocard drivers.

i updated everything i could and the problem is still there. The weird thing is that I didnt do anything in between the time it worked and when it stopped working.

Edit: i went to personalization, changed the resolution, then changed it back. it works now. Hope this can help someone else with a similar problem

Can you tell us from what resolution to what resolution you went?

I think he means he went from res1 (his native) to res2 (any old thing) then back to res1 again, and it worked.
