Isn't Mei more japanese-ish? I'm Dutch myself and I don't know anyone named Mei.

What do you think of Elmira as her longer name? It can be shorterned to Mi and I think it suits her.

Mi or Mi Mi ("me me") means secret in Mandarin.

Mi Na ("Me na") could means to catch or grab a secret.
