This is my adaptation of a traditional mongolian long song. Mandolin is real, accordion is sampled but heavily tweaked, and I'm the xhoomeizhi, or throat-singer. I recorded this as a practice really, but I think it came out pretty well.

Even if it's not your thing, I still appreciate your comment.

Interesting.  The instrumentation is great, and I love the mood it sets, of a slow drawn meditation, perhaps on a past event (as is often the case with folk music).  In all honesty, I'm not sure what to do with such deep and gravely vocals though.  They just barely fit musically, but thematically they seem more like something out of heavy metal than from the folk style of the piece.  Overall I do like it though.

I think the point of those vocals is that their style IS the style of a folkloristic music that you're just not familiar with. X)
