I'm making these in Blender, with the help of a machinima kit made by a fan called JabJabJab.

I'm just working on them in whatever order at this point, since the only one I could actually find a premade skin for was the Hunter, meaning that all the others will require roughly the same amount of work. The only one I'll leave for later is the Smoker, since he'll need his tongue. I'm planning to do the Spitter after I finish the Witch, and then maybe I can do the Tank after that.

There's a video with a Minecraft-style Charger out on YouTube, but it was made quite a while before I started this, and I had nothing to do with its development. If you want to make sure they're different, compare the models and the skins, since I made the skin for my Charger from scratch, and the model in the video I think you're talking about has the entire front arm bent so it's parallel with its chest.

Wow!  I didn't know there was such a thing as minecraft, but it looks like something I've been thinking someone somewhere needs to make: an-easy-to-make-your-own-levels 3d game.

@AClockworkLemon:  Oh sure, I live in a hole called my life, which contains a teeny tiny window of time I can do stuff on the computer.  Thus, my ability to keep up on new games is limited to hearsay and my occasional peek at www.jayisgames.com.

Indeed. No one's really sure who did it; there are rumors that it was everything from /b/ to disgruntled fans to Slenderman. Fortunately, it seems to be on the decline at this point.
