[Song] Walking (performed)
« on: October 14, 2010, 18:41:42 »
Many people seem to like my Korg DS-10 song called Walking. It is actually a simple song structure wise, so I decided to play it on my Yamaha PSR-740. I did a little bit of improvisation along the way. Sorry for that, I just couldn't resist. :D

You can watch it here:

Enjoy, and feedback is always welcome.

Interesting how the choice of instruments gives a totally different feel to the same song!

I like 'em both... perhaps the keyboard version better, as it's more... human? Like, we can see you playing the song right there, real-time.

Nice gear by the way! I have an older version from the same PSR series, a 550. Great, reliable keyboards. :)

What's the lower one?

Thanks, both of you.

@SiamJai: The PSR 550 is actually newer than my PSR740. The first number is the series, the second is the version.

I have a 7 series PSR, version 4.0, you have a 5 series version 5.0. :) Yours is newer. For instance, your version is more directed to the mainstream, having a songbook to select a popular song (from that time) and it will automatically prepare you to play that song (set the rythm, and tones)
