Does anyone else have a problem with this? The doctor plans to build a bomb which, when it explodes, will make the world frozen, so the ball goes off and tries to stop the doctor. But if in the future there's a war anyway, isn't what the ball does no help at all since it's already happened?

Well, I guess the way I see it is that if Dr. Cliche's bomb goes off, everything on the planet dies, whereas in the war timeline, there is still some hope for life continuing.

dr cliche is troubled he hates war so much that he is willing to kill everyone in hope that nobody will have to go through the pain but the ball wants there to be a future even if it means pain and like stuff happens and i don't even know man

Actually, I got to point out that Saira have some hints related to this.

Then, if the ball does something important in the future related to the war is something I'll reveal later. Obviously the war was not prevented, but don't think binary in ones and zeroes, at least something may be different...

Dr. Cliche was planning to freeze the world over in the year 2500, but the ball stopped him. His parents died before 2600 at most (assuming they don't live to be over 100), which is before Saira was even born.

Do balls live long? :) We can tell stories! :D

The ball we are talking about is a failed attempt to create the bomb. I assume that it'd live as long as a bomb. How long does a bomb live?

We're not talking about the ball. We're talking about the human that created the ball. Unless Niff says otherwise, I'm pretty sure humans live an average of 80 years.
