...What?

EDIT: I guess I should post something actually constructive. X) I would advise that you should use non-default tilesets, and I would very strongly advise you use objects, at least. Unless you mean custom objects. Then that's optional.

EDIT2: I downloaded this, and it's very bad. Sorry, but a lot of it is pretty boring, no pretty graphics. Also, just using a lot of enemies doesn't make it fun. Have challenges. Also, there's a wallswim in the 6th and 7th screen. Oh and, before I forcet, have grass on Layer 2, not 3.

EDIT3: Wow...The 10th screen is pure fail. The white trap is on a 3rd layer tile, so it glitches up, and it's visually bad. Please play through your level yourself before you send it out to the public.

Sorry if I sounded so negative. I'm just in a bad mood today. -_-' All I'm saying is play through some other levels to get some ideas of how to better your levels. You don't want to end up like KnyttMaster, who started arguing when someone said his level was bad.

Its ok, we all have those days.

EDIT?:  What if it's a bad level? Wouldn't he get influenced of the same thing, making his levels bad? (huh?)

Alright, downloaded. It's... blah. Of course, this is your first level, so most people were like this.  :)

A few things to watch out for: putting grass on layer 3, voids, and putting objects in walls. Also, take all the advice people give you, or you'll end up going insane not improving.

(Remembers KnyttMaster and shudders  :S)

Wow, I forgot about that. X) Well, I admit the only thing that made that level good was the concept of the moving pieces. Graphically, it wasn't good. :/ But that's why I've been doing environmentals recently.

Anyway, enough about me. Now that I'm in a better mood, I've got to say that if you want to improve on graphics, do environmentals so all you have to worry about is how good it looks instead of how hard/easy it is. That's what I did.

I agree. Environmentals are where its at. Knytt Stories is very environment-centric.
Some good ones to check out would be:

Elder's Mashu Prapa
Imaddo's Knytt On the Moon
Kohdi's Riku Island
Quincent Cartographer's A Walk at Night

And of course my Sahara  XD
