Okay, ignore that. I just wanted to make sure that you weren't getting mislead by my complex explanation. I just want it solely designed with serif tilesets, is all.

Ok, I'm interested but short on time to work on this kind of thing.  When is the deadline?

No deadline. I'll judge the submissions when I get enough. Actually I'm thinking of setting a specific element to be used. Would that help encourage imagination?

More than one is great. That's a perfect example, just ignore anything I've said recently and go with something like that. That's the kind of thing I want.

Ok, got one.  

I forgot about the rule of solid color at the bottom until I made it, so I just added a fog haze.  

This was fun.  I always wanted to use this tileset, but I never wanted to use it for one of my levels.  

I might do another later on.

Ok, here we go! (see attached) Is this one OK? i tried to make sure it wasn't too dark, and that the tileset worked in accordance to your specifications, if it doesn't, please feel free to give advice!

This is just what I've been wanting to do for quite a while. I'll mix up some images when I get home.

@AClockworkLemon: I believe the graphics are supposed to come to a dead stop at the ends.

In what way? If you mean each picture should be an isolated area, well, none of the others are....

that rule doesn't really apply anymore. you're all doing fine, anyway.
