[Challenge/Puzzle][Lunatic] Lazer Maze

Hello everybody !

Above all else, i'm French, so i apologize for my bad english.

I was playing Knytt Stories and i had an idea : to create a lunatic single-screen level.

Single-screen because it was way easier to make it.
Lunatic, perhaps because i'm a sadomasochist... It doesn't really matter, i guess.

However, i'm not really satisfied with the right of the screen. Especially with the lower right corridor (with the key). I can add some stakes or lasers, but i think those would be too much.
Could you help me ?

Why is it only french that apologize for their bad english? Not that they are bad at it just almost every french person does. Btw hi and welcome. Your level looks nice I might try it out later 

It looked easier than Lunatic on the screenshot, so I gave it a go... and found the spikes. It's Lunatic allright, I only got the high jump powerup. 

I'm currently trying to get the hologram. In general I wouldn't use the challenge of jumping one square under spikes, as it relies more or less on luck.

I used to agree with you, but I noticed that we can easily jump over the spikes if you push the button very fastly.

To those who have some difficulties :
- Use the "A" button to slow Juni (once you get the pink power-up), it's way easier to avoid the lasers.
- Use the hologram all the time, in order to disable the spikes and the monsters.

A little anecdote who can be useful sometimes : all the purple blocks have spikes and/or lasers clipped. And all the red ones are safe.

Precisely what I was doing. I could get it maybe one time out of five. That's why the run power-up was okay, but the hologram was there and back.

Oh yeah, the hologram can't disable the spikes there. Erm, "oops".

That's why making a level and not finishing it yourself is a bad idea. There were 2 big issues, which I cheated, and one small. The small one is spikes on the ceiling when you take the Run power-up. The big ones are Hologram and Eye. After taking the Eye I couldn't get back, because there were invisible blocks blocking the way and killing things on top of them.

Otherwise the level is fine. You're right about the bottom-right corner, the animal there poses no threat at all.

It is completely possible to get back with the eye.

That's why making a level and not finishing it yourself is a bad idea.

Sorry but I finished it myself.  I just cheated for the hologram because I had already tested if it was possible or not.

Erm, if I didn't put the invisible blocks on the laser you ceertainly would not have been able to pass. With the invisible blocks, you simply have to climb slowly until you reach the top. The "things" will not kill you.

Yep. Do you have any idea for increase the difficulty there ?

Hey, why the heck is there an Eye in a single-screen level? Isn't that pointless because the invisible stuff won't show up when you don't leave the screen?

The invisible stuff shows up when you die too. So, die.

Actually, I think it's possible to complete the level without dying. But it's really, really difficult.
