The Lake
« on: July 16, 2010, 09:21:41 »
Now, I am working on a brand new level "The Lake". It is my third serious level. The releasing will be far, because I am too lazy   :P2

This is my first experience with custom objects. It is the custom water - it is safe to swim and semi - transparent.
There will be some custom objects tiles too.

The level is mainly underwater (underlake C)) and there are water people on holiday, "growing" animals ...

Below, there is the starting screen, but it is a "photo"montage - the people are something saying :shifty:

Because the water is semitransparent, the waterfall looks odd stopping at a rectangular corner one square below the water. :/ You could possibly extend it all the way down or add the lowest bits of the waterfall to a water co.
Lurk more.

I agree with PP. Other than that, this looks nice, though.

I get a vague Farik vibe from this, btw. Must be the extreme greenness. Farik is the King of Very Green Levels :D

I think the water should perhaps be even more transparent than it already is.

Farik is the King of Very Green Levels :D
I still have nightmares from doing my Ascension LP. D:

But this does look very promising. So many good KS levels coming out soon! This might actually motivate me to finish my secret project...that doesn't exist...
A God, a Messiah, an Angel, a King, a Prince, and an All Terrain Vehicle.

I haven't seen that tileset before.  I like it, except the lighter version of the same tile for a background.  It is such a particular pattern, that to have it as a background pattern flattens the area enormously.
