What the heck happened to my last post?!
Here it is again:

I therefore appeal to the mafia to kill LimeLemon tonight and for everyone else to unvote him.

PP, I somehow don't think that appealing to the Mafia is going to work...

An idea that just came to me: what if the Joker role starts off as town, but after something happens, he becomes Mafia? This is just an idea though, please don't take it to be correct.

That doesn't make sense - Townies win when mafia is dead, Gangsters win when town is dead - if Joker knows that his role will be changed he will try not to vote Mafia members, because it decreases his chances to win. Following your idea it would rather be mafia member who can't vote at night, until something happens. But anyways, it's not what being Joker is about IMO.

In a completely fair roll switching the person with whom LimeLemon switched rolls would be chosen at random, giving him as much a chance of being town as anyone else. His actions on the other hand may clue you in that he is infact scum. You can't just say "he roleswitched so he's scum," though.

This is bugging me now. Mainly because of the word choice.

Understandably, this is his first mafia game on the nifflas forum, however this still seems to me to be rushing into things a little bit.

Granted, this is probably going off Sal's little information about his vote, however deciding off of one post dosen't quite cut it for me in this situation.

Cue recap. You entered the game last minute asking that an extra role be added. At the same time, the Joker roll came into existence and you were accepted. If you're not the joker, you probably switched roles.

All I've said is that the Joker role might be similar to the Jester role. Both aren't town-sided nor mafia-sided, anyway.

Fair enough, let me explain myself.

So far, there have been two major events:
1) The joker role that is suspected to be LimeLemon.
2) The fact that when 4 votes were out, 3 of them where for Pumpkin. For no good reason.

I'm not basing my vote on (1) as I'm frankly not sure that LimeLemon is the Joker, nor do I know what the Joker is.

That leaves (2). So I asked people to explain themselves, and willomo did. But he was the only one.

So, out of the 2 votes for Pumpkin left, Sal's was the most suspitious. So I warned him and asked him yet again to explain himself. And what he posted wasn't an explenation.

I felt like I had to show that my warning was serious and hence I voted for Sal.

Hopefully this braught some clarity to it

All this being said, this is indeed my first game. And I know very little about how to play it. Maybe this was jumping the gun a bit, I don't know. I'm just doing what I find to be best for the situation.

And the word choice was just, well, poor choice of words

I was in a rush back then and could only leave a smaller post. Granted, I could have worded it better, but what's done is done.

As you have added Joker role after closing subscriptions, and just after you let LimeLemon to play (he even mentioned that you can add special role for him, you can find it in confirmations topic), it's kinda obvious who is Joker.

Also I don't like reason of LimeLemon's vote. He was the first who vote too.

That's why, sir. You can't blame as for assuming that you are Joker. You are the most likely person to be him, and you haven't done anything to prove that we are wrong.

Also, I can't understand the reason of your vote LL. That's the thing which doesn't make sense.

If the Joker role is just a Jester, what would be the point in NOT arousing suspicion? What if LimeLemon is trying to get people to vote him so he would win? The so-called Joker role is very suspicious and could mean the pointless death of possibly helpful or town friendly people.

Isn't getting lynched too easy? I mean, it's not that hard to make everyone suspect yourself - but anyway, your point is good. We don't know anything about Joker role, so he can be townie-friendly aswell. But, as I tried to show before, there are two facts, which suggest (at least for me) that Joker is enemy of townies:

• Look at roles section in Razzorman's first post. Joker is separated from town roles (less convincing argument)
• LimeLemon, who most likely is Joker, didn't tried to explain himself yet. He focused on ridiculing me and doing senseless votes (vide: vote for Kaizoman) instead (more convincing argument)

Now I will aply kaizo's logic.
It is most likely that I am the "Joker". There are three scenarios:
1. The Joker is the same as Jester. You lynch me, you lose (or at least I win).
2. The Joker is town aligned. You lynch me, you lose on it.
3. The Joker is anti-town. You lynch me, you gain on it.
2 vs 1 = Don't lynch me.
