First clue: it's not something that's sitting directly on the desk. It may be hard to guess because of the blurriness (I'm sorry! ), but it's definitely visible even if you don't open the full size image.

If you're referring to the book on the left, no, it's not a sketchbook... but the author's name on the cover can give you a hint on what it is
