Ooh, ouch. I think you can disable that in the control panel. don't know, haven't used XP for a while
I'm not dead. Not entirely. And yes, I'm embarrassed by most of the posts I made here.

Sounds like the Windows Firewall is blocking incoming connections to port 6121. You can either disable the firewall completely or make an exception rule for that TCP port:

Security Center -> Windows Firewall -> Exceptions tab -> Add port

"Error; you do not have sufficient rights to open port 6121.
Please contact your administrator"

"Error; you do not have sufficient rights to unblock a program from Microsoft Windows Security.
Please contact your administrator"

I AM THE ADMINISTRATOR! WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT?!

Furthermore, the thing I've been dreading for months has happened:

"STOP:0x0000001

Disk Quota Exceeded. No more files can be written to drive C: under the account JIMSLAP/Jim.

4GB Allowance
4GB Used
100% Usage

***DISK LOCK ENGAGED AT 3GB

Please delete 1GB of files to disengage the disk lock."

This means that I am now forced to choose 1GB of my stuff and delete it through the BIOS, else I will not even be allowed back into Windows.

I hate XP.

EDIT:Don't worry, panic over, I just glitched my disk into thinking it was empty.

Really strange... Did you try booting in fail-safe mode (F8) and logging into the system using the built-in "Administrator" account? It should show up at the XP start-up screen in fail-safe mode (that is, if you didn't disable it manually). Maybe you can disable disk quotas and configure the Windows Firewall that way. Also, you could check if your normal user account is a member of the "Administrators" group (Start -> Run -> "control userpasswords2").

don't worry, It's fixed now.
and I am a member of the administrators group, but as it turns out, there is another hidden group of users called "NT AUTHORITY" which is higher up than me. I cannot access either of these accounts.

the problem of the windows firewall still remains, though.

Looks like a problem with the system's security policies. You can use Gpedit.msc to modify these policies. However, if you use XP Home you'll have to do it via the Registry Editor:

http://windowsxp.mvps.org/resetfwpol.htm

Don't forget to make a backup of your project... just in case something goes wrong (it shouldn't, but you never know).

Program's going well (ish)

I just found out that I have to put a "Terms of Usage" agreement that details all the rules, else some things might happen then I get sued by Americans (I think)

Here's it so far:
The point of this, I believe, is so that if someone in America breaks the rules, but they deny it, the laws of America allow them to sue me. For this reason, I have to outline the rules beforehand. I just copied+pasted most of this stuff from the UAs of websites, so please suggest something I should add/remove/modify before I submit it.

yay...bureaucracy ftw...

EDIT: I just heard that this may not be true, but I better put this in anyway (better safe than sorry)

Damn, more legal stuff.

But yeah, I agree to all those rules, I won't spam or post links to no-no websites.

Can we still write Junipr0n fanfics, though?

And if I do break the law (unlikely, but meh) I don't know how the "resulting legal proceedings" will be carried out under the laws of the UK, since I don't live there.  :P2

The stuff I got told to say was "no extreme or under-age pornographic content" so I guess that depends on how old Juni is. (good luck on finding that out, considering she's been every age from 4 to 976)

And I don't know what the bit about the laws of the UK have got to do with it either. It just said "...and resulting legal proceedings are held under the law that the media work was created in...".

How about this: Juni refers to the name of the sprite, and/or the character in Nifflas original story "The machine". All other third party uses of the name Juni are not accounted for, and are the property of said third party.

The player character in KS really doesn't have a name. Juni is just the name that Niff used, and it kind of stuck.

In that case, she's just turned 18.

Uhh, what? Lolicon is only illegal in the UK.
Oh, wait...

Well they probably meant cp. Loli should be fine. If you are outside of UK.

Oh, wait, again... There is actually something called the Official Forum Rules! Enjoy your spambotban.

Wow. I can't think of a single worse way to defend that... Seriously, just... :sigh:

"Uhh what? It doesn't matter if she might be underage! Pedophilic art is still technically legal in a lot of places! Therefor it must be allowed!"

Yes, lolicon is illegal, and for a very good reason. That's why I said 18. 9_9
