dude i'm not criticizing him he even acknowledged that it's a bad approach i'm asking a serious question why is he doing it like this is the server he is using really that bad o_________o
as for the second part i'm asking another serious question is there really no way to do it and making sure he knows that there's a very good reason to make it continuous

also, pointing out the faults in a system shouldn't be regarded as offensive
and yes i realize that he's doing it for the community i'm not asking him to stop i'm asking him to please make it better if he has the power to do so ;)

also acwl i ask you this: what attitude do you mean that i don't throw enough "how wonderful" into my questions or that i'm too critical of the system or whatever because i don't really think faulting a system for its incapabilities should be regarded as offensive or anything 9___________9

Monkey, i can see where you are coming from, however i despise your negative attitude towards (almost) everything. Sure, point out the faults in the system, but realize that it is only a temporary solution, and that jimj isn't doing it just for himself, but for the whole nifforum WoT community. [/lecture]

You're the one with the attitude.

Monkey, ...bla... WoT community. [/lecture]
You're the one with the attitude.

For sure. i have to apologize for that, it was late and i was unusually grumpy. Sure i get grumpy, but that would have to be an all-time high of grumpieness..... is that even a word?

Anyways, yeah.......

Hey, jimj, I've just thought of something... what about a "paint mode" in which you select a character and then start painting continuosly by using the arrow keys or clicking with the mouse? It would be like FSDPC (a REALLY old text-mode screen design program), where you could press ESC and a character, like the ASCII char 219 (solid block), and then just move the cursor across the screen while painting a line.

hmm...It could work...
*adds to ideas list*

also, I am looking for ideas for a name for the program as well. "YWoT Clone" as I've been calling it sounds terrible, and is unpronounceable without spelling it out.

MASSIVE CHANGE IN STUFF: Jamie just released a MMF2 server extention, so I can now program the server-side code! However, this effectively doubles my workload, so:
Time to complete:Now ~4 weeks
Probability of finishing: +5% on whatever it was (can't remember)
