Great Race question

A while ago I downloaded this story and loved it! But it was unfinished, with no real ending after you get to the finish line. It said it would be done soon, and when I check youtube I see some versions that have an intro made for them that isn't in the version I have.

The one I have is 2.5, which SEEMS to be the latest version, at least, it's the latest one in the archives.

Did it ever get fully finished? And can anyone direct me to the final (or latest) version?

seriously though, I think years from now when I look back at this game, the Great Race and Don't Eat the Mushroom are going to be the two I most remember. TGR at least deserves to have its latest version in the archive
