Once again, I have to disagree with everyone on the backgrounds. I think the first one looks much better.
Also, I think there is more than enough contrast between the green and the black for it to be visible.
Am I extra sensitive to that kind of stuff or something? :P
I know its not my screen, because I just got a new one, and nothing looks different.

I think the old one was fine, but the new one is better. The old one looks like the background things have some weird compression going on.
good bye

I guess by the time I'm done, all of you will have seen a third of the screens. XD
In other news, unless I hear some serious opposition, I think I will use my KS mod to make this level. Also, slight mishap, I overwrote one of the backgrounds(gradients) I made, so I had to make it again. It looks the same-ish, so I hope no one picks me apart for it. X)

This does look really good - the tilesets are excellent - particularly the cave / dark grass ones.

Now this is just my opinion, but I don't particularly want to use a modded version of KS. At least until the mod is in a final, complete stage. I've messed up several plays through Morrowind and Oblivion that way and with KS, its one of the few games I play that still feels 'clean' (I regularly dispose of inadequate levels). Of course, as Ponto said, if it REQUIRES the mod, so be it - it just means I'll have to succumb or just miss out. But if there's still an option, I'd vote either both mod and un-modded versions or just for vanilla KS.

You can always just use the modded version just for this and the few other levels that use it.

Unlike Morrowind and Oblivions that eat disk space for breakfast, it isn't too much of a problem to have more than one version of KS installed...

<Dataflashsabot> I think we might be a figment of Gaeel's twisted imagination...

Well, natch. It's not a disk space issue, rather just a preference not to have two installs of KS on my machine.

I'm fussy like that.

KS doesn't need to be installed. It comes in a zip file.

And the old "installer" wasn't really installing anything either. It just unpacked the files.

This isn't dead! I haven't been making a lot of progress, and a bit of IRL has come up, but this is not dead. I have decided to use my mod for this, I don't know if a normal KS version would be possible in the end or not, but at the moment, it wouldn't be hard at all to release it for normal KS.  :)

To prove it's alive:
