Those screens really hurt my eyes. Maybe there is too much contrast?

It's probably something on your computer; the screens don't hurt my eyes at all. O_o

I'm relentlessly fooling around with my monitor's color and brightness settings trying to find one that makes those screens not look good, but I can't find anything.

This is true.
Also, what a convoluted way of complimenting something, lol.

Then i think we can assume that its my eyes and not my screen that is the problem. :P

Thanks guys.  :)

I've gone ahead and changed the background; I felt it was distracting. I am currently debating making it use my Knytt Stories mod or not, so I'd like opinions on that, but for now, just enjoy another screeny!

New screeny, this time from an entirely different area. I had attempted to make a realistic (really jagged and whatnot) cave tileset, but I wasn't happy with it, so I did a more 'nifflas' style grassy cave. I liked it much better, anyway. And to continue spoiling you, a screeny of that tileset. (I know it looks like a lot of already existing tilesets, but it isn't!) And then, because I'm bored, we also have a screeny of a industrial lab like place. (That tileset nor screen is done!) In case you wonder about the plot, it's going to have some twists, but I'm hoping to make it so that the story doesn't get in the way of exploring, etc.

I posted this with Environmental/Maze because, guess what? That's what it is. I'm not in the mood to discuss this, because, honestly, that rule never made sense. I'm not really happy with that rule, because I think the level falls perfectly into the categories I labelled it as, and I don't intend to change it. So while it can be said that I'm not following the 'rules', some rules are meant to be broken, and this is one of them. It makes no sense at all why 'environmental levels cannot be something else'. Because it is part of a maze makes it no longer environmental? That's really dumb and I don't mind saying so. So, I'm sorry to have to butcher my own topic for this, and I know it's going to turn into a lot of critical feedback, but the tags are correct, despite any rules.

EDIT: After feedback on the background from several people, I think I might try to change it a bit. I do want to thank everyone tho, for commenting on the screens themselves.  :)
Nice post, I like the attitude. :)
Never agreed with that rule either.

And your level is really looking great. I mean REALLY. :D

A mod disagreeing with a rule? What is this world coming to (besides an end)?!

XD I really like those new screenshots, too.
