Avatars

Hey, I've done a search and checked the help area, but can't seem to get ANY image to be acceptable as an avatar.  I've tried jpg and png... hmmm... don't think I tried gif.  Also lots of resizing and nothing works.  Any ideas what I'm doing wrong, or are avatars a reward for a million posts or something?

The maximum size has to be 100px x 100px. Exceeding that limit will ensure that the avatar won't upload. If you are below this limit and you still get an error, can you tell me what the error is you're getting?

Both .jpg and .png should work. You'll need to upload the avatar though.

Yeah!  Success!  Apparently my avatars where like 20 pixels over.

I thought forum avatars where 75x75 pixels.... 

No, 100px by 100px is the usual amount, though I have seen 125px by 125px as a maximum before.

Oh....ok....cause I have been to most forums that have 75x75 pixels.

This dosnt mean im changing the size of my avatar and why are you reading this? And why am I writing this small?
